Manantiales, Uruguay

Piero Atchugarry Gallery presents a dynamic program spanning contemporary art and modern survey exhibitions, with locations in Manantiales and Garzón, Uruguay, and Miami, Florida. It represents established contemporary artists with an institutional approach from Uruguay and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico), as well as from all other continents (Denmark, Italy, Germany, Japan, Morocco, South Africa, Switzerland).

In January 2026, the gallery inaugurated La Perla, a new exhibition space in Manantiales. Spanning over 450 m², La Perla presents the gallery’s program in Uruguay and serves as a key operational hub for Latin America.

Through this expansion and the continued international work of its Miami space, the gallery reaffirms its mission to create new spaces for encounter and reflection around contemporary art, strengthening bridges between Latin America and the world.

PROGRAMMING

  • Pueblo Garzón Viewing Room

Situated minutes from Tierra Garzón, Pueblo Garzón Viewing Room is a space where visitors can more casually and intimately become better acquainted with the Gallery’s represented artists. Here, visitors can learn more about each artists’ practice and the curatorial approach that links them together.

  • Tierra Garzón Residency

Since 2018, Piero Atchugarry Gallery has operated an exclusive residency program in Tierra Garzón, Uruguay. Hosted at its Tierra space, the program provides invited artists with dedicated studios and living quarters in a rural setting. Residents also engage with international curators, established artists, and leading institutions.

  • Sculpture Park

Embedded in the growing and ever changing landscape, Garzón Sculpture Park gives the possibility for artists to produce and share their work and vision in nature to an heterogeneous audience, contributing to the creation of a Latin American new cultural reference.
